Chartrix

1. Information We Collect

Chartrix does not collect any personal information.

• No user accounts, login, or registration.
• No names, emails, phone numbers, or personal identifiers.
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

2. Medical Imaging Data

DICOM medical image files (CT, MRI, etc.) imported by the user:

• Are stored and processed entirely on-device.
• Are never transmitted to third-party servers.
• Work fully offline without internet connection.
• Are deleted when the app is uninstalled.

3. iCloud Sync

When iCloud is enabled on your device, Chartrix uses Apple's iCloud services to sync data across your devices:

• CloudKit syncs chart metadata (patient aliases, study info, notes, measurements).
• iCloud Drive syncs DICOM files and generated USDZ models.
• All synced data is stored in your private iCloud account and is not accessible by the developer or any third party.
• iCloud sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• If iCloud is disabled, all data remains local to the device.

4. Patient Information Protection

Chartrix uses aliases instead of real patient names. DICOM metadata (patient name, ID, etc.) is never transmitted outside the app or your private iCloud account.

5. Third-Party Sharing

Chartrix does not share any data with third parties. There are no advertising networks, analytics services, or external API integrations.

6. Permissions Used

• File Access: Used to import DICOM folders.
• iCloud: Used to sync data across your devices (optional).

No camera, location, contacts, or other permissions are used.

7. Children's Privacy

Chartrix is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Reference Only Disclaimer

Chartrix is a reference-only medical imaging viewer. It is not intended for clinical diagnosis, treatment decisions, or medical practice. All measurements and visualizations are provided for reference purposes only.

Any updates to this privacy policy will be posted on this page.
